A sketch from a while ago. I like these characters, although not sure yet who they are or what the story is.

It's been so long since I've posted on this blog! Partly because I've been using facebook more, and partly I suppose because I've been busy finishing a book illustration project. I'd like to get back in the routine here, though! In the meantime, here is a quick sketch I drew and painted the other day.

This 4 day weekend!

Soft snow piling up on the front porch, making things look soft and storybook-like.

Reading books together.

We had a carbon monoxide scare last night- I'm so thankful that our trusty little detector worked and went off. It saved our lives! Big time gratitude for our amazing emergency responders, too.

Little green fairy is delivering a letter! I am so enjoying painting these little bug fairies! She started as a doodle the other day and now I cant seem to get her out of my mind.
